The peace deal is welcomed. The people of South Sudan need to go back to normalcy and subsequently this will foster peace, security and growth across the Horn of Africa region. A general observation; Its optimistic that this will not relapse as another unresolved conflict, which will elicit memories of conflict in future. As such, the International Community, regional IGAD Partners and interested stakeholders should continue to monitor the situation and assist in the implementation of the deal.
