- The President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, said he wants to enhance security and stability in South Sudan, after meeting with a GoSS representative.

- The Kenyan foreign ministry advise Kenyans against travelling to several areas in South Sudan.

- A new UN report identified more than 40 South Sudanese officials, including military generals and state governors, who may be responsible for war crimes and crimes against humanity. The report calls on the AU to take immediate steps to establish a Hybrid Court to prosecute the responsible perpetrators.
